According to Dynamic Builders and Construction Company, Inc., the road widening project spanning 2.46 kilometers has been fast-tracked for completion.

Silay-Lanatwan Road is a major highway that is utilized in bringing farm products to the market specifically the hauling of sugarcane from farm-to-mill. This also serves as entry point to several tourist destination in the province.

DPWH allocated P69.04 million for the road widening project. It also covers embankment protection, stone masonry, and drainage provision.
