The new City Hall is located in Brgy. Talaban, Himamaylan City. It stands on a three-hectare property, that also includes the Hall of Justice and headquarters of the City Police Station. It was fully constructed and developed by Dynamic Builders and Construction Company, Inc. of Bacolod City.

The new Himalayan City Hall is considered the legacy of the people of Himamaylan City.

Twelve Catholic priests blessed the new City Hall and inaugurated it in the presence of provincial and local officials headed by then Vice Gov, now Gov Eugenio Jose Lacson, with Francis Tolentino, then political adviser of former President Rodrigo Duterte, as the guest of honor and speaker.

According to local officials, the national government offices will occupy the Old City Hall.
